Editorial Policy

How we source, verify and publish our coverage of business in the UAE.

↻ Updated: 15 July 2026

The garant.consulting newsroom is committed to publishing accurate, useful and verified information about the UAE business environment. These are the principles we follow.

Sources and facts

  • Every article is built from facts gathered from at least two independent sources, always anchored to a primary source (official or regulatory).
  • Official data (laws, decrees, statistics, rates, deadlines) is verified against UAE primary sources: the FTA (tax.gov.ae), WAM, u.ae, the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), DIFC, ADGM, sector authorities and free zones.
  • We name sources in the text and link to official documents where possible.

Fact-checking

Coverage of sensitive topics (tax, visas, law, finance) undergoes additional fact verification against official sources before publication. Where accuracy is in doubt, we hold the article until it is clarified.

Independence and tone

We maintain a neutral, business tone. The portal does not pursue political, religious or otherwise sensitive agendas and respects UAE law.

Corrections

If an error is found in a published article, we correct it promptly and, where material, flag that the piece was updated. You can report an error via our contact page.

Authors

Articles are prepared by the newsroom with input from Garant Business Consultancy experts. Every article carries an author and a publication date.
